Fantastic Wedding Day at Ingliston Country Club for Clare and Adam

The Busby Hotel - Winter Wedding Day

Katie and Robin celebrated their wedding day at the beautiful Busby Hotel this month. The Busby has redecorated their bridal suite as well as their reception rooms, they look exquisite, bright and fresh. It was lovely to see Paul Browett their Humanist again TheScottishCelebrant.com. Something quite unusual for me was a 'first touch' photograph where Robin came up to the bridal suite for a reassuring 'touch' before the ceremony. Very moving and special.
The weather was very cold but dry and later in the day we got a dusting of snow which added just a little bit of magic to their wedding day. Congratulations to you both, and thank you for having me as your wedding photographer. Here's a few images from their day.

Back at the lovely Busby Hotel for Caitlin and Danny's wedding celebration. The weather wasn't as good as it's been recently, but there are so many beautiful areas in the Busby that you can still get a full wedding collection. I particularly loved the area downstairs which was nice and quiet just for the couple to relax and enjoy a breather from a full and happy wedding day.

Busby Hotel Wedding - Esther and Paul

What a wedding day celebration! Esther and Paul tied the knot at the lovely Busby Hotel and had an absolute ball. Esther surprised Paul just after dinner when the singing servers made an appearance. December weddings are special. Christmas is coming, the weather - if kind, is crisp and bright and there's a wonderful feeling of family togetherness and celebration. Carla and Gary went ahead with their wedding on the scheduled date as they just really wanted to get married and start their new life together. They changed their plans (I'm sure with much thought and heartfelt agonising) to include just 20 guests to a more intimate setting from a Marquee to the beautifully decorated Connemara Suite at Ingliston Country Club. Their wedding ceremony took place in the magnificent University Memorial Chapel in Glasgow which was breathtaking. Congratulations to you both, your wedding day was stunning, happy and your love and affection for each other and your family and friends just shone through. Pre-Wedding Photo Shoot with Ross and Emily

Ross and Emily are due to get married in a couple of year's time. We met up for a pre-wedding shoot in Knapps just to get together, chat about their day and have a bit of fun. The autumn colours were so vibrant, it was a really windy afternoon and the sky was so dramatic. I very much look forward to their big day, at least we've had a start.

My engagement shoot package includes all images plus you can opt to have a framed signing board or 10 page photobook with place for your guests to write down their good wishes on each facing page.

Lisa and Lee's beautiful intimate wedding at Ingliston Country Club October 2020

I just loved speaking to Lisa when she first got in touch with me in April to discuss her proposed wedding at Ingliston Country Club. Lisa and Lee were due to get married in Mexico but with lockdown due to Covid they were unable to travel. They had previously stayed at Ingliston and just loved the venue and were very excited to move their wedding plans from Mexico to Scotland. Lisa was such a joy to work with, I enjoyed our phone calls leading up to their wedding and really was looking forward to seeing the family on such a long awaited wedding day.

Well, what a day it was. The weather was perfect, everyone was happy and Ingliston had made their 15 person wedding party very welcome and comfortable and the venue looked amazing (I was humbled and felt privileged to be part of their numbers). I thank you Lisa and Lee for choosing me to be your photographer. I also thank Ingliston (Charlene and Shaunna) for making everyone feel welcome and safe.

Charlotte and Gavin had a beautiful winter wedding between Christmas and New Year at the gorgeous Murrayshall Country Hotel (https://www.murrayshall.co.uk). Their day went so well from the start where Charlotte and her girls got ready in one of the spacious lodges which are in the hotel grounds. The wedding ceremony and reception was held in the main hotel, the reception had a towering Christmas tree which was a perfect backdrop for their photographs. Later in the evening we were all treated to a spectacular firework display - perfect for a crisp winter sky. I have had such a wonderful year again, I just love photographing weddings, it's a real privilege and I am so excited for this new year.

Their day began with their marriage ceremony in Houston and Killellan Kirk then we went onto the Seamill Hyrdo Hotel in West Kilbride. Seamill's Firth Pavilion has just been completed and is absolutely stunning. The weather was kind to us so we were able to make good use of their beautiful gardens and beach. April showers? Not for us! To be blessed with beautiful weather on your wedding day - what a joy. Jeni and Andrew got married this month in Old Gourock and Ashton Parish Church. It's such a stunning church which includes Charles Rennie MackIntosh designed pulpit and choir stalls and exquisitel stained glass windows. From the beautiful service through to the fantastic guard of honour by the local girl guides and brownies afterwards, it was a wonderful wedding ceremony.

Afterwards we went for some photographs up Tower Hill then onto Gourock's Darroch park gardens.

The Greenock Town hall looked fantastic for the reception.

Denise and Paul's Wedding Day, The Brisbane House Hotel, Largs

Baby Erin, New Born Photography

Last week I had the pleasure of photographing Louise and Mark's new-born Erin. A year and a half ago I photographed their wedding day at Carnbooth House Hotel and really enjoyed being with the family on such a fantastic day. Now, here we are with a new arrival and such a little poppet. Erin was such a joy to photograph - at only seven weeks old she even seemed to love the experience!! Joanne and David's Wedding Day, House For An Art Lover

Joanne and David got married late December between Christmas and New Year. They chose House for an Art Lover for their Wedding ceremony and reception. I'm always happy to photograph weddings at House for an Art Lover as the location plus exterior and interior decor is fabulous and gives great opportunities for fantastic photographs.
